About Us

At Learn Log, we understand that tutoring isn’t as simple as just repeating information from select text books to every student that comes through our doors. Rather, we pride ourselves in bringing out the very best in all of our students with teaching methods that are both unique and engaging. Our aim is to take students who might be struggling to grasp certain topics of a subject and boost not only their confidence in the subject at hand but also to enhance everything that they already know. Classes are split by either year group or smaller group sessions. Individual, one to one lessons are available where necessary or on request.

This is all done with the ultimate goal of securing your child a place at their selected first choice grammar or independent school. In addition to this, students who apply for independent schools are given help on how to approach interviews and go through them confidently.

Teaching is carried out by PGCE qualified and DBS checked teachers – the result of this being consistently high pass rates across the board. Our services cover South East London, specifically for the grammar schools in Bromley, Bexley and Kent. Learn Log began as a home tutoring service for 11 plus. With a passion for education and consistent success in helping children achieve places in their chosen schools, Learn Log has expanded rapidly to a centre that provides support for a wide range of subjects.

Classes

Classes are taught in small groups of students. This allows for a supportive atmosphere in which children thrive and make excellent progress. If a child cannot attend their regular session, we can usually arrange an alternative class subject to availability Learn Log offers a range of different class sizes to suit the ability of the child. Classes will be carried out in small group sessions split by year group. Individual 1-1 lessons are available where necessary and on request. This allows for a supportive atmosphere in which children thrive and make excellent progress. If a child cannot attend their regular session, we can usually arrange an alternative class subject to availability.
